FREE MENTORING IN WALES
3 of our Board Members at WWA are Mentors available via the Gwnaed a Gwlan mentoring scheme (Jacqui, Anna and Nerys). You can get up to 24 hours free mentoring if you work with wool in Wales (available until April 2023), simply apply and ask for our mentors who are all taking on new Mentees for the New Year. Recently the team published a fantastic review from one of Jacqui's mentees which said it was "the best 24 hours for her business". Each Mentor has specific skill sets to help your business - from legal, business, branding, weaving, sheep management and more.

INSULATION RESEARCH GRANT
Founding members Ruth and Mair from Wool Insulation Wales ltd - together have substantial experience in the construction and housing sectors. They founded WIW to do things differently and secure premiums for Farmers using welsh wool. They have secured a £25k grant to share with a collaborative company who has actively researched and has ready sustainable alternative treatments for Moths (lanolin extraction).. deadline 6th January 2023 for applications from businesses (not individuals)
